Referral Program Terms & Conditions

The HCS Mulching Referral Program rewards individuals for referring new customers to HCS Mulching. By participating, you agree to the following terms:

Program Start 

The referral program officially began on August 20, 2025. Referrals made before this date do not qualify for rewards.

To qualify, the referral must be mentioned at the time of booking. Referrals provided after the booking has already been scheduled will not be honored.

 

Eligibility

The referral program is open to all individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

Referrers do not have to be past customers of HCS Mulching, but they must have direct contact with the referred party.

 

Referral Definition

A “referral” is defined as a new customer who has never previously contacted or done business with HCS Mulching.

The referred customer must provide the referrer’s full name at the time of scheduling their estimate or job in order for the referrer to qualify for the reward.

Referrals cannot be self-referrals.

 

Reward Amount & Payment

The reward is $100 per qualifying referral.

The reward will be issued once the referred customer’s job has been completed and paid in full.

Rewards will be paid by cash or check, based on the referrer’s preference.

 

Qualifying Jobs

Only the first, initial job completed for the referred customer qualifies for the referral reward.

Additional work or repeat business from the same referred customer does not generate additional rewards.

Jobs must meet HCS Mulching’s minimum service rate requirements to qualify.

 

Program Restrictions

There is no limit to the number of different people you can refer.

Multiple referrers will not be credited for the same referred customer; the reward will go to the first person named by the customer.

Referrals must result in a booked, completed, and paid job within 6 months of the initial referral to qualify.

 

Tax Responsibility

Referral rewards may be subject to IRS reporting requirements. Referrers are responsible for any applicable taxes on the reward.

Right to Deny Rewards

HCS Mulching reserves the right to deny or withhold referral rewards at its sole discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, abuse of the program, inaccurate or incomplete referral information, or circumstances where issuing a reward would conflict with these terms.

 

Program Changes

HCS Mulching reserves the right to change, suspend, or end the referral program at any time without prior notice.

Any referrals made before program changes will be honored according to the terms in effect at the time of the referral.
